Opening Doors . . .

Last week was real estate acquisition week.  Elder Hatch has been meeting with the хозяин or хозяика (landlord or landlady) of available квартераs (apartments) in two areas in our mission in hopes of increasing suitable housing for our missionaries.  Makeevka is one of the areas where we would like to place additional missionaries.  The Makeevka Branch is working to become a ward.  They have already acquired land for a new church there, but need to increase their meeting attendance by an average of five or so people.
Right now we have four elders in Makeevka.  Soon, we hope to have more.

Donetsk Central is the Zone we live and work in.  This week we visited
the apartments of the sisters in our district, our District leaders, our Zone leaders and the AP's

Two more of our sisters are serving in Gorlovka as well as two companionships of elders.
We have been blessed with some very dedicated young people serving here in Ukraine.
They keep their apartments clean, too.

Obyedinyoni is blessed to have two more of our sisters, along with four super, hard-working elders.
Petrovski is the other area where we just signed a contract for a new missionary apartment.
The building with the red roof above top and far left is our house of worship in Petrovski.

I think you can tell just by looking at all of these faces that some of the very best young people
from all over the world are sent to Donetsk.
