Spring has come and it was worth the wait!

I think that spring really has come at last!
The building in the distance is where we live.
This spot is along the bridge we cross daily on our walk to the Mission Office.

 Bushes are in blossom
Trees are in bud
Bulbs are in bloom
And the critters have come out of hiding.

The most fascinating drama we wittnessed
on our walk home was an interesting
interaction between a furry feline and a troop of neighborhood pigeons.
Puss had no real interest in the bread, but stationed herself near the largest chunk because of the interest the pigeons seemed to show in it.  When that strategy did not work she tried nonchalantly to join them, but they seemed unimpressed with her company. The birds acted oblivious of their stalking companion, waddling off to one side or another as she approached, but always keeping just out of her reach.

  1. How very cat like. I am not sure who I feel sorry for, the cat or the pigons.

  2. Happy Spring!
How's your language speaking coming? Do you have, or can you create, say, 6 new-word conversation experiences a day? More? Less? Or you don't much, because most missionaries speak English?

And it's Mother's Day, tomorrow... Happy Mother's Day!
