Elder Pulsipher was serving in the Makeevka Branch when we arrived in Ukraine. When we attended church our first Sunday, he was one of the first to greet us with his habitual friendly grin. Before we were in the same district here in Lugansk, he and his companion were our zone leaders in Donetsk Center. We have shared a lot of experiences together. It will not be the same to have him gone.
Elder Pulsipher was the only Elder leaving to go home this transfer,
along with three wonderful Sister missionaries.
along with three wonderful Sister missionaries.
Sister Ward, Haymond and Watts have been like our daughters.
We have worried about them, prayed over them, and have been and are extreemly proud of them.
They have added light and excitement and love to our mission.
there's nothing like the light of a missionaries smile!
ReplyDeleteEspecially if you're going home, bittersweet or no!
ReplyDeleteisn't that a bit like biological children? except you spend years and years watching them grow and learn and better themselves - then they hit that jumping off point all for a "new life". But soon enough you will take their place and you will be leaving for your "new life" and they will miss you terribly!
