Sunday we attended church at the
Центральной Приход. They meet at 11:00 and the Приход Макиивка meets at 9:00. We walked to a bus stop with Elder Rice and Elder Thornburg who also live in our building complex. Sister Ward and Sister Haymond
got on at the next stop, so there were six of us.
The building is beautiful (красивая цирковь). The people are beautiful (красивые люди) and their testimonies are beautiful (Красивое свидетельство).
Do we look like Russian immigrants? The natives don't think so. As we walked from the bus stop a group of men we passed called out in Russian, "Go home Yankees."
The snow ( красивый снег) is beautiful, too! But Holly is right. It IS colder than Utah!!

ReplyDeleteThanks to Jonathan we were able to get your blog address so we have been catching up on the past pictures. Yes it does look colder than Utah. Darcus and I have colds so we did not go to church yesterday. I am getting over my problems but Darcus is still on the getting worse phase.
