It's Spring?

Our weather is changing.  The ice melted.  The snow was gone . . .  then it came back.
The snow melted a second time. It was replaced by rivers of mud and wet, sloppy places to walk.
Then, just when we were feeling confident enough to retire our snowboots,  the clouds
moved in.  Rain has begun.  The crocuses didn't mind this morning's rain, but as the day wore on the rain turned to hail and the pretty purple and gold blossoms took a beating.
This afternoon we stopped for a second to pull out our camera and a fuzzy  friend came over to ask for a little attention.  Her bulging belly is another indication of spring.  There are almost as many pussies as people in our neighborhood.

Indoors, we have had blossoms for several weeks now.
Here the weather does not seem to matter at all.

I'm not sure what it's name is,  but it is lovely.

  2. Thank you for your post. Posts. Now we have a new computer routine, most if not all of us. get on, check your blog link, check whatever else it is we are doing.

Thank you also for the gospel-spirit of your blog. Spring has finally arrived here... its been - still is- the longest cold I've experienced here. So it must be coming to stay soon up there.... And I am glad to see Russian speaking kitties understand 'Merican.

When spring does get there, we do want to know what you see up in the sky at night...

  3. We have had a wetter and colder spring. Very grey. This last bit of sunshine today has been a great blessing drying up the surface of our mud.

  5. *sigh* spring is WONDERFUL . . . I'm not as amazed by all the little newcomers as I was last year here - but I do LOVE it. I saw some itsy bitsy half inch caterpillars dangling on long threads that shimmer in the sun . . . Ive no idea what they are though. Bethy said maybe they sound like silkworms, but I looked those up, and these are WAY teenier.
It was so nice and sunny on Sunday, yesterday, I wanted to go to the beach . . . meh then I woke up today and I guess the earth was a little chilly and needed her blanket of clouds! it was overcast ALL day today (Monday)!!
